Do You Need Health Coverage?
We are currently outside of the Open Enrollment Period (OEP) for individual and family plans. (OEP begins again November 1, 2026.) If you need health insurance outside of OEP, you will need a qualifying reason. Examples include loss of employer coverage, loss of Medicaid coverage, marriage, and divorce. Wondering if you qualify? Send an email to kathy@wiswellinsurance.com.
Changes for 2027
The dates for Open Enrollment are changing!
We can assist with your 2027 enrollment between November 1st and December 15th.
For 2026 plans, we were able to submit enrollments between November 1st and December 15th for a January 1st effective date, and submit enrollments between December 16th and January 15th for a February 1st effective date. The Colorado exchange, Connect for Health, is now required to align with the dates of the federal exchange. It is no longer an option to submit your enrollment for a February 1st effective date.
Enrollments must be submitted by December 15, 2026, in order to have coverage in 2027.
